Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a DOT Compliance & Fleet Safety Specialist to administer FMCSR-based programs, oversee driver qualification files, drug and alcohol testing, and fleet safety data analysis. The role supports the Sr.

Manager of DOT Compliance & Fleet and ensures confidentiality of regulated records. Location availability includes Fargo, Indianapolis, Centennial, or Phoenix; remote option with travel to offices may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
• 3-5 years' relevant experience
• Previous DOT Compliance experience required

Responsibilities

• Oversee DOT Compliance and Fleet Safety processes per regulations
• Serve as subject matter resource for DOT inquiries
• Conduct and support DOT audits
• Prepare quarterly, annual, and ad hoc compliance reports
• Manage the full lifecycle of DOT Driver Qualification files
• Monitor renewal of all DOT-regulated documentation
• Analyze telematics and safety data to identify trends
• Complete annual driver reviews and update records
• Maintain confidential drug and alcohol testing records with TPAs
• Notify field leadership of driver status changes
• Monitor training completion and update materials
• Collaborate with HR/vendors/field teams to collect missing information
• Assist in preparation of compliance presentations
• Other duties as assigned
