Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a DOT Compliance & Fleet Safety Specialist to administer and oversee FMCSRs compliance, DOT audits, and driver qualification files. Location flexibility includes Fargo, Indianapolis, Centennial, and Phoenix with potential remote work and travel to offices as needed.

The role requires 3–5 years of DOT compliance experience, strong knowledge of regulations, and proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Previous DOT Compliance experience required
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and recordkeeping standards
• Experience with audits and driver qualification files is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee DOT Compliance and Fleet Safety processes per policy and federal regulations
• Serve as subject matter resource for DOT compliance inquiries
• Conduct internal/external DOT audits
• Prepare compliance reports to track fleet safety performance
• Manage DOT Driver Qualification files with strict retention
• Monitor renewal of DOT documentation and MVR reviews
• Analyze telematics and safety data to identify trends
• Complete annual driver reviews and update records
• Maintain confidential drug and alcohol testing records and coordinate with TPAs
• Provide timely notifications regarding status changes or deficiencies
• Monitor training completion and update materials
• Collaborate with HR and field teams to onboard drivers
• Assist in preparing compliance-related presentations and communications
• Other duties as assigned
