Job summary

MasTec Renewables is hiring a DOT Compliance & Fleet Safety Specialist. The role manages FMCSR-aligned programs, maintains driver qualification records, and coordinates drug/alcohol testing while tracking fleet safety trends.

Location flexibility includes Fargo, Indianapolis, Centennial, or Phoenix with onsite, or remote work with travel as needed. The candidate should have a related degree and 3–5 years of DOT compliance experience, plus strong organizational and communication skills to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in related field preferred
• Three to five years' of relevant experience
• Previous DOT Compliance experience required

Responsibilities

• Oversee the DOT Compliance and Fleet Safety processes to ensure adherence to policy and regulations
• Serve as SME for DOT compliance inquiries
• Conduct and support internal/external DOT audits
• Prepare quarterly, annual, and ad hoc compliance reports
• Manage the full lifecycle of DOT Driver Qualification files
• Monitor renewal of DOT-regulated documentation (medical certifications, licenses, MVR)
• Analyze telematics and safety data to identify trends
• Complete annual driver reviews and update records
• Maintain confidential drug and alcohol testing records and coordinate with TPAs
• Provide notifications to field leadership on driver status changes
• Monitor training completion and update compliance materials
• Collaborate with HR and field teams to onboard drivers
• Assist in preparing compliance-related presentations
