Job summary

NFI in Texas is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate the dedicated fleet, maximize driver and equipment utilization, and drive dispatch operations to meet customer expectations.

You will supervise coordinators, clerks, spotters and drivers, handle scheduling and payroll data, and report daily to management with a focus on safety, compliance, and accurate invoicing. This role requires leadership and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field required.
• 1–5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with TMW and PeopleNet is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision to staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.
• Manages driver scheduling process and payroll data.
• Coordinates load completions and data entry into TMW.
• Cooperates on customer invoicing and reconciles carrier invoices.
• Ensures equipment is utilized efficiently and maintained properly.
• Delivers daily end-of-shift reports and supports safety programs.
