Job summary

NFI is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate the dedicated fleet, optimize driver and equipment utilization, and supervise dispatch operations to meet customer expectations. You will lead coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers, manage scheduling and payroll data, and ensure timely reporting to management.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe, efficient operations, improving processes, and providing regular coaching and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with TMW and PeopleNet preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel/Office skills and transportation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision to coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.
• Manages driver scheduling process and payroll data.
• Coordinates load completions and data entry into TMW.
• Coordinates with management on the customer invoicing process and reconciles carrier invoices.
• Ensures equipment is utilized efficiently.
• Drafts and submits daily end of shift reports.
• Offers coaching and performance reviews to improve staff performance.
• Maintains accurate timekeeping records.
