Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate the dedicated fleet, optimize driver and equipment utilization, and oversee dispatch operations and reporting to customers and management.

The role involves supervising coordinators and drivers, managing scheduling and payroll data, and ensuring safety and efficiency across operations. Strong communication, analytical skills, and familiarity with TMW/PeopleNet are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or at least 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required
• Experience with TMW and People Net preferred
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills with external clients
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at select locations

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision to staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.
• Manages driver scheduling process and payroll data
• Coordinates load completions and data entry into TMW
• Coordinates with managers on the customer invoicing process and reconciles common carrier invoice and approvals
• Ensures equipment is utilized efficiently
• Coordinates maintenance of equipment with management and fleet
• Drafts and submits daily end of shift report
• Makes recommendations to management on initiatives and programs to improve operations
