Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Fleet Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activity of Fleet drivers and ensure world-class service while maintaining safety and policy standards. The role includes interviewing, training, and evaluating staff, plus coordinating overtime to meet service demand.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, driver logs review, and responding to road service calls. Strong supervisory experience and valid state driver’s license with DOT card are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
• 1-3 years towing experience required.
• Active and valid driver’s license from one state or jurisdiction.
• DOT card pre-hire and within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activity of Fleet drivers to deliver world class service while following safety procedures.
• Interviews, makes hiring recommendations, identifies training needs and evaluates staff performance.
• Delivers training on policies, procedures and safety; teaches about AAA products and services.
• Performs daily inspections of drivers and vehicles; reviews logs and maintenance issues.
• Responds to road service calls to provide mechanical assistance to members or fleet drivers.
• Opens/closes the Fleet Operations Center as scheduled; ensures security.
• Resolves service delivery or member problems and protects property.
