Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Fleet Supervisor in Millbury, MA, to oversee daily Driver activities, supervise staff, and ensure top‑tier service and safety standards. The role includes training, scheduling oversight, and incident resolution to maintain world‑class fleet support.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree, 3–4 years of related experience, 1–3 years tow experience, supervisory preference, and a valid driver’s license with a DOT card.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years of additional relevant work experience required.
• 1-3 years of on‑the‑job tow experience required.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by a single state or jurisdiction required.
• DOT card pre-hire and within 1 year of employment required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day‑to‑day activities of Fleet drivers, monitoring service demands and field operations.
• Trains drivers on technical and procedural aspects of fleet operations and safety.
• Reinforces Five Diamond Service and member satisfaction.
• Ensures field operations and vehicle maintenance conform to policies and procedures.
• Interviews and hires, identifies training needs, and evaluates performance of staff.
• Reviews scheduling to ensure adequate staff coverage and manages overtime as needed.
• Delivers new-hire and refresher training, and conducts on-the-job and classroom sessions.
• Resolves service delivery problems and ensures driver safety and member satisfaction.
• Performs daily inspections of drivers and vehicles and reviews driver logs.
• Investigates driver injury incidents and coordinates prevention measures.
• Performs periodic inventory checks and informs management of reorder status.
• Responds to road service calls to provide mechanical assistance to members or fleet drivers.
• Opens/closes the Fleet Operations Center and ensures security.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
