Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate the dedicated fleet, optimize driver and equipment utilization, and direct dispatch operations to meet customer expectations. You will oversee staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers while ensuring accurate payroll, load data, and timely reporting.

The role requires experience in supervisory roles, knowledge of TMW and PeopleNet, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or at least 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with TMW and PeopleNet preferred.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of transportation / mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to become certified in OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations as necessary.
• Excellent talent management and team building skills.
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with external clients.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision to staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.
• Manage driver scheduling process and payroll data.
• Coordinate load completions and data entry into TMW.
• Coordinate with managers on customer invoicing and reconcile invoices.
• Ensure equipment is utilized efficiently.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment with management and fleet.
• Draft and submit daily end of shift report.
• Propose and work on programs to improve operations.
