Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking an Account Specialist to monitor fleet status and coordinate between drivers and the on-site terminal. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, setting up deliveries, and managing driver papers.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of field operational experience or related management experience required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Transportation, Logistics, and/or Tech industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to generate high freight order volumes.
• Analyze freight and staffing demands and plan accordingly.
• Dispatch drivers to trailers and schedule loads for customer delivery.
• Provide information on delivery schedules and issues; inform drivers of packets.
• Monitor in-transit deliveries and keep customers updated on status.
• Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence.
