Job summary

Southland Industries in Texas is seeking a Fleet Administrator to assist in administering and coordinating the vehicle fleet program, maintaining records of vehicles, drivers, and safety compliance.

You will manage fleets, schedule assignments, coordinate deliveries, assure regulatory registrations, insurance matters, and generate reports on utilization and costs. The role requires strong organizational skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Updates and maintains fleet tracking system and vehicle records.
• Schedules vehicle assignments; coordinates deliveries between locations.
• Ensures compliance with vehicle registration, licensing, and insurance.
• Coordinates lease management based on demand and availability.
• Supports insurance administration; reports incidents and damages.
• Processes, tracks and reports fleet expenses.
• Plans and schedules maintenance to keep vehicles in good condition.
• Generates reports on fleet utilization and costs.
