Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED), preferred.
- One year experience performing vehicle maintenance or certificate from vocational/trade program or FedEx Apprentice Program.
- One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
- Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Performs basic diagnostics to identify trouble sources and makes adjustments for safe operation.
- Works with other technicians on preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Ensures proper documentation of maintenance and completes reports written and electronically.
