Job summary
FedEx Freight, Inc. seeks a seasoned Fleet Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild components, ensuring safe, efficient operation and timely documentation of all work performed.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED), preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience performing vehicle maintenance.
- A Master ASE certification may substitute additional experience.
- Demonstrated competency in Brakes, Electrical, PMI, Powertrain, and Trailing Equipment.
- Proficient computer skills including maintenance programs and diagnostic systems.
Responsibilities
- Repairs, modifies and performs preventive maintenance inspections on fleet equipment.
- Performs advanced diagnostics to identify trouble sources and perform repairs.
- Makes adjustments for safe operation and documents work in reports.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced technicians.
- Ensures proper documentation and safety inspections of equipment.
- Performs paint and body work on vehicles as required.
