Qualifications

• :High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• :1 year experience performing vehicle maintenance or completion of FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform tasks.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on work assignment.
• Knowledge of testing equipment, gauges and tools used for troubleshooting.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment
• Performs basic diagnostics to identify source of trouble and adjusts equipment
• Works with other technicians on preventative maintenance and repairs
• Documents maintenance in writing and electronically
• Performs safety inspections of equipment and documents work
• Paint and body work on vehicles as required
• Comply with laws and company policies
• Perform other duties as required
