Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain our vehicle fleet, including tractors, trailers, and forklifts. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, document work, and ensure safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with ASE certifications and a CDL preferred. Strong tools, independence, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year vehicle maintenance experience or equivalent certificate/Apprentice program.
• ASE certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must have tools to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics to identify issues and adjust equipment.
• Document maintenance in writing and electronically.
• Conduct safety inspections and report findings.
• Conduct paint and body work as required.
• Work independently or with a team to complete tasks.
