Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. seeks Fleet Maintenance Technicians to repair and maintain our vehicle fleet, including tractors, trailers, and forklifts. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure safe operation and reliability.

Responsibilities include documenting work, conducting safety inspections, and collaborating with teammates. ASE certifications and a CDL are preferred, with tools provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of vehicle maintenance experience or completion of a vehicle maintenance certificate.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics to identify trouble and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Work with other technicians on maintenance and repairs.
• Document all maintenance in reports (written and electronic).
• Perform safety inspections and document results.
• Paint and body work on vehicles as required.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
