Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Clerk to schedule preventive maintenance for our vehicles, order parts, and maintain maintenance records. You will enter data daily, verify accuracy, and assist shop staff in daily operations.

The role requires basic office software skills, effective multitasking, and a commitment to safety as you support the maintenance team with timely reporting and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related work experience.
• Preferred experience in the waste or trucking industry.
• Ability to learn Waste Pro proprietary software.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office, data entry, Fleet Management software, and email.
• Ability to multitask and plan work activities with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Schedules preventive maintenance for Waste Pro vehicles and orders required parts.
• Files repair orders, safety lane forms and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Enters maintenance data daily and verifies accuracy with mechanics.
• Orders parts requested by night and day shifts with manager approval.
• Maintains and counts parts inventory; stocks and dispenses parts.
• Receives, labels and delivers parts to mechanics, supervisors and managers.
• Reviews staff time cards for missed punches and notifies for corrections.
• Produces productivity and usage reports for management.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
