US Foods is seeking a Manager, Fleet to oversee all aspects of fleet maintenance, ensuring safety, service, and cost efficiency across operations. The role focuses on leading technicians, maintaining equipment, and driving reliable fleet performance.

You will manage safety programs, supervise staff, and coordinate with drivers and suppliers to meet production needs while staying compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of fleet equipment experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in fleet maintenance practices and fleet operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and regulations.

Aufgaben

• Oversee all fleet maintenance functions and ensure a safe work environment.
• Lead safety culture to keep drivers, associates and the public injury-free.
• Interview, hire, and train fleet technicians; schedule training and certifications.
• Ensure vehicles are in proper working condition; document specs and service recommendations.
• Manage parts, purchasing, warranties, and budget for the fleet.
• Coordinate with drivers and repair vendors; obtain competitive bids for repairs.
• Comply with OSHA, DOT, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports including OOS and performance metrics.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
