US Foods in Texas is seeking a Manager, Fleet to lead fleet maintenance and safety across our operation, driving cost-conscious, reliable service for customers. You will oversee technicians, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

The role requires 5+ years in fleet work, 3+ years supervising, a valid driver's license, and a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. Travel up to 10% is expected, with opportunities to impact the fleet across multiple sites.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of fleet equipment experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state Driver’s license.
• Knowledge of DOT, Hazmat, and OSHA regulations.
• Thermo King and Major certification.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all aspects of fleet maintenance and safety.
• Interview, hire, and train fleet technicians; schedule schooling.
• Manage purchasing, warranties, and parts inventory; develop the yearly budget.
• Ensure vehicles meet service recommendations and document specifications.
• Produce weekly, period, and yearly reports; handle OSHA/DOT compliance.
• Lead a culture focused on people, safety, service and cost.
