Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Fleet to lead maintenance operations, ensure safety, and drive cost-effective fleet performance. You will supervise technicians, manage budgets, and coordinate with drivers to keep vehicles in top condition.

The role requires 5+ years in fleet, 3+ years leadership, and knowledge of DOT/OSHA rules. CDL and Thermo King certifications are a plus, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fleet equipment experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of DOT, Hazmat and OSHA regulations.
• Thermo King and major certification.
• State Inspections License preferred.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet maintenance and safety programs.
• Hire, train and evaluate fleet technicians.
• Manage budgets, warranties and parts inventory.
• Coordinate with drivers for proper equipment operation.
• Produce reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
