Job summary

Kroger Romulus is seeking an experienced Truck Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily shop activities, ensure reliable fleet operations, and uphold Kroger's standards for safety and quality.

You will schedule maintenance, manage mechanics, coordinate fleet availability, and report on repair needs while mentoring staff and controlling parts inventory. This on-site role requires CDL and a background in diesel mechanics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in diesel mechanics/technology with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Valid CDL required and ability to operate diesel shop equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior and drive excellent service.
• Coordinate fleet availability and schedule maintenance.
• Produce and manage mechanics' schedules.
• Develop and upgrade fleet information system.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts; purchase parts.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
• Travel to offsite locations as needed; work weekends when required.
