Job summary

Rose Cartage Service, Inc., a Griffith, IN-based fleet operator, seeks a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead our mechanics, oversee preventive maintenance and repairs, and optimize shop processes. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure safety, reliability, and on-road performance of our growing fleet.

The role entails managing parts inventory, scheduling maintenance, and improving systems that keep trucks moving, with a focus on cost-effective, timely service and team development.

• Valid CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team of mechanics.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of fleet in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Manage parts inventory and repair shop workflow within budget.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program to maximize uptime.
• Manage work orders and ensure accuracy of service records.
