Zusammenfassung

Rumpke is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day maintenance staff at our Nelsonville facility in Ohio. You will oversee repairs, safety, scheduling, and performance while coordinating with management to keep fleet services efficient.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of diesel maintenance experience, welding familiarity, and knowledge of OSHA/DOT rules. This role supports a large public/service fleet with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years performing repairs and maintenance on diesel powered, heavy vehicles, hydraulics, equipment, and/or related components.
• Experience working with welding equipment preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of OSHA and DOT rules and regulations.

Aufgaben

• Supervise the maintenance staff, including training, scheduling work assignments, and overtime ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Perform supervisory functions including employee reviews, attendance tracking, and accountability.
• Prioritize work to meet operational needs and ensure efficiency.
• Coach and mentor direct reports with proper SAP use and assignment.
• Communicate status of fleet vehicles and equipment with management and operations.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in the maintenance department.
• Perform vehicle inspections and manage parts inventory.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
• Train employees to meet or exceed standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to foster positive relations with customers and colleagues.
