Job summary

You will lead a team, monitor performance, coordinate with Operations, control costs, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety standards.

This role requires at least a HS diploma and 2 years in vehicle maintenance with supervisory experience; MS Office proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of vehicle maintenance experience, including at least six months in a team lead/supervisory role.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission truck to determine operability.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance preferred; knowledge of DOT rules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop employees.
• Ensure equipment repairs are completed in a high-quality and timely manner.
• Monitor employee performance and provide corrective action.
• Plan daily staffing to meet workload.
• Provide support to the Operations team regarding all equipment-related issues.
• Monitor and analyze opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies.
