Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL is a plus.
• Experience with diesel/gas engines and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and databases.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work orders meet safety standards.
• Verify weekly timecards for mechanics.
• Keep shop and grounds clean and organized.
• Maintain part and fluid inventory with vendor ordering.
• Align equipment downtime with construction schedules.
• Assemble job kits with tools and parts before jobs.
• Use GPS telematics to track assets.
• Assist with on-site mechanical repairs when needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues across equipment brands.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain records; learn new software quickly.
• Collaborate with employees, management, vendors.
• Handle emergency calls and dispatch mechanics.
• May require after-hours or weekend work.
