Western States Equipment Company is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage the repair and maintenance of the Heavy Rent fleet, coordinating with technicians to minimize machine downtime and ensure rental readiness. The role requires strong organizational abilities, English communication skills, and a background in heavy equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities include prioritizing repairs, scheduling maintenance, and collaborating with sales and service teams to document and justify costs.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical skills to understand repair scope and processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar systems.
• Strong organizational, time management and communications skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and assertive.
• Ability to travel overnight on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fleet repair and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure Return to Ready status.
• Schedule and prioritize machine repairs and preventive maintenance in shop.
• Review inspections and create repair segments on work orders.
• Communicate maintenance needs with technicians and shop staff.
• Utilize ERP and asset management systems to support repairs.
• Lead daily progress meetings to prioritize tasks and update stakeholders.
