Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to manage fleet service logistics and ensure timely maintenance across our 24/7/365 operation. You will assess events, assign the nearest service provider, confirm authorization, and communicate ETA to customers while escalating delays as needed.

Ideal candidates bring strong dispatching and multitasking skills, plus a solid maintenance background in medium/heavy duty vehicles. Training includes shift work, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dispatching experience in breakdown/tire maintenance preferred.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities required.
• Knowledge of fleet service providers and maintenance workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Advise customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on delays or issues with repairs.
