Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to manage fleet logistics and ensure timely maintenance and repairs across our service network. You will assign events, verify authorization, and communicate ETA and requirements to customers in a fast-paced environment.

This role operates within a 24/7/365 framework with varying shifts to cover market needs; you will report to the Cox Fleet leadership team and contribute to continuous improvement in dispatch processes and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years dispatching/maintenance experience.
• 5 years experience in dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations.
• Assign open events to the nearest service provider.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Advise customers of ETA and follow requirements.
• Inform supervisor of delays or repair issues.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
