Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate fleet operations and ensure timely maintenance and repairs. You will troubleshoot events, assign the appropriate service provider, and keep customers informed of ETA while supporting a 24/7/365 operation.

The role requires strong dispatching skills, multitasking, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Training schedules vary to cover market needs and shifts across days, evenings, and overnights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in dispatching for breakdowns or tire/vehicle maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching processes and multitasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch.
• Assign the nearest service provider for repairs.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow stated requirements.
• Notify supervisor on duty of delays or repair issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
