Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are serviced promptly. You will assign events, verify authorization, and dispatch the nearest service provider while maintaining clear communication with customers regarding ETA and any delays.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in dispatching and multitasking, with a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Advise customers of ETA and follow their specifications.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
