Job summary

Cox Enterprises is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator to manage fleet logistics, ensure timely vehicle maintenance, and coordinate service providers. You will assign events, verify dispatch authorization, and communicate ETA to customers in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years dispatching experience (Breakdown/tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance).
• Alternative: advanced degree or certification in a related discipline or 5 years dispatching/maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Report delays or issues to supervisor on duty.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
