Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate fleet logistics and ensure prompt maintenance for vehicles. You will assign events, verify authorization, and dispatch the nearest service provider while keeping customers informed of ETA and progress.

Ideal candidates are proactive problem solvers with dispatching experience in a 24/7/365 environment and strong multitasking abilities. Training starts Nov/Dec 2026, with varied shifts across days, evenings, and overnights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years dispatching experience in breakdown/tires for medium/heavy duty vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Preferred: degree in related discipline or industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Advise the customer of ETA and follow requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or repair issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
