Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to join our Cox Fleet operations. You will coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring timely maintenance and repair of vehicles across a 24/7/365 environment.

You will assign the nearest service provider, confirm authorization, and keep customers informed of ETA and any issues that arise. The role requires strong dispatching skills and multitasking abilities, with a background in related fields preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in dispatching for breakdown or tire, or 5 years in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Preferred: degree or industry experience in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure vehicles are repaired promptly.
• Assess and assign all open events and verify proper authorization to dispatch.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform requested repairs.
• Inform the customer of ETA and follow instructions per their requirements.
• Notify supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
