Job summary

ContainerPort Group, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Coordinator for our Charlotte, NC terminal to support local customer experience by coordinating quotes, orders, and status updates, acting as the liaison between terminal operations and customer-facing teams.

A high school diploma is required; college degree is preferred. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and Transportation Management Systems to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College Degree preferred.
• 1+ year trucking industry experience preferred.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high email/phone/messaging volume.
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Transportation Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate quote rates and service capabilities.
• Process orders as they arrive.
• Provide shipment status updates and anticipated service times; offer alternatives when needed.
• Glean feedback, identify trends, and suggest improvements to customer experience.
• Enter time-sensitive order information accurately into computer systems.
• Respond to questions quickly and strive to exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure customer location and contact details are up to date in systems.
• Perform other duties as requested.
