Job summary

World Group's ContainerPort Group (CPG®), a World Group company, seeks a Fleet Coordinator for its Charlotte, NC terminal. You will be the link between terminal operations and customer-facing teams, building local relationships at warehouses and vendors to ensure a smooth customer experience.

The role is hands-on with high execution demands, focused on improving service levels, rate communications, and order processing in a dynamic trucking terminal setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1+ year trucking industry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and TMS.

Responsibilities

• Communicating quote rates and service capabilities
• Processing orders as they arrive
• Providing shipment status updates and alternatives
• Gathering feedback to improve the customer experience
• Entering time-sensitive orders into computer systems
• Responding quickly to questions and requests
• Keeping customer location and contact info up to date
• Performing other duties as requested
