Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Breakdown Coordinator to support our fleet operations in Kansas City, with 24/7/365 coverage. You will troubleshoot events, dispatch the right service provider, and keep customers informed of ETA and progress.

Ideal candidates have a strong dispatching background, multitasking abilities, and a passion for automotive service. Training may include evening or overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3 years of dispatching experience in breakdown/tire service or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Preferred: degree in a related discipline or industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Advise customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or repair problems.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
