Cox Automotive is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to join Cox Fleet. You will troubleshoot events, verify authorization to dispatch, and assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.

Hours vary to provide 24/7/365 coverage; compensation includes hourly pay ranging from $18.17 to $27.31, plus bonus plans and comprehensive benefits such as healthcare, 401(k) with company match, and parental leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in dispatching for breakdowns or tire maintenance on medium/heavy duty vehicles.
• Knowledge of dispatching and multitasking is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform requested repairs.
• Advise the customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
