Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed to serve members with safe, timely roadside assistance and potential tow services. You will operate on a flatbed or tow vehicle, provide basic mechanical aid, educate members on issues, and promote AAA products while upholding high service standards.

The role requires 21+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, DOT pre-hire, and the ability to work a 24/7 schedule with shift differentials and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Active and valid driver's license (one state).
• DOT card pre-hire and within 1 year of employment.
• Pass motor vehicle record check during pre-hire and ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Accepts calls with ETA and keeps the member calm and safe on arrival.
• Provides minor mechanical assistance and towing according to policy.
• Maintains service vehicle and equipment; performs safety checks.
• Promotes AAA products and services to members and communicates options.
• Works independently across a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts.
