Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed to deliver safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for members. You will respond within ETA, perform light mechanical assistance, battery boosts, and secure vehicles for towing when necessary.

Role requires high school diploma, 21+ age, automotive training, and a valid driver’s license with a DOT card. Includes shift differentials, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. 24/7 operation with a Wed-Sat 10a-8:30p shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age and valid driver’s license.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics.
• DOT card required pre-hire and during employment.
• Satisfactorily pass motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Accepts calls with ETA and locates members, addressing emotional state and safety on arrival.
• Provides minor mechanical assistance and towing per policy; diagnoses probable causes.
• Maintains vehicle/equipment and safety procedures; represents AAA brand professionally.
• Educates members on AAA products and services; assists Dispatch to transport members as needed.
• Works independently; supports a 24/7 operation; handles changing vehicle dynamics during tow.
• Takes special care to prevent damage and injury when towing or securing loads.
