Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Technician (Flatbed) in Avon, MA to provide safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for AAA members. You’ll work the 1st shift (4x10) and respond to member requests with a focus on safety, quick ETA, and professional service in tow or flatbed vehicles.

The role requires automotive repair knowledge, a valid driver's license, DOT pre-hire, and the ability to tow or assist with minor mechanical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity with electrical troubleshooting required.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by one state or jurisdiction.
• DOT card pre-hire and during employment per policy.
• Satisfactorily pass motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Responds to member calls and dispatch with ETA; assesses safety and location for service.
• Provides minor mechanical assistance and towing per safety guidelines and club policies.
• Maintains service vehicle and equipment in safe working order; manages tools and inventory.
• Promotes AAA products and services and assists members with transportation needs.
• Works flexible shifts to cover 24/7 operation and handles challenging driving conditions.
