Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed to deliver safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for AAA members. You will respond within ETA, assess scene safety, perform minor mechanical work or tow vehicles as needed, and promote AAA products.

You will operate in a 24/7 environment and maintain equipment while ensuring member satisfaction. Position highlights include a pay range of $24.00-$27.00 per hour, shift differentials, annual bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics required.
• DOT card pre-hire and as a current employee within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Accepts calls and responds to Dispatch or members with ETA to destination.
• Provides safe, efficient minor mechanical assistance and towing service as appropriate.
• Maintains service vehicle and equipment in good safe working order; follows safety procedures.
• Educates members on AAA products and services; promotes other AAA offerings.
• Able to work independently across a 24/7 operation and handle changing vehicle dynamics.
