Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed to provide safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for members, including jump starts, tire changes, and light mechanical aid. You may tow to facilities when needed and promote AAA products, while maintaining high member satisfaction.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT pre-hire, and automotive/mechanical training, with shift coverage including evenings and weekends. 401(k) and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity with electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Accept calls and respond to Dispatch or members with ETA to destination.
• Provide minor mechanical assistance and towing as needed.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment in safe working order and follow safety procedures.
• Promote AAA products and services and refer calls to appropriate technicians.
• Work independently with flexible shifts to cover a 24/7 operation.
• Ensure safety and proper securing of vehicles and equipment.
