Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed to provide safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for members. You will respond to service requests, ensure safety, and offer minor mechanical assistance to get the vehicle moving when possible.

When needed, tow vehicles to repair facilities while upholding AAA standards and promoting AAA products. The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT card, and the ability to work a 24/7 shift pattern, with emphasis on high member satisfaction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years of age required.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity of electrical troubleshooting required.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by only one state or jurisdiction required.
• DOT card pre-hire and as a current employee within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member requests with ETA and assess safety on arrival.
• Provide minor mechanical assistance and towing as needed according to standards.
• Promote AAA products and services to members and assist with achieving satisfaction metrics.
• Work flexible shifts to cover a 24/7 operation and maintain professional image.
