David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to welcome customers via phone, chat and in person, book appointments, and support the Alterations department. You will press, steam, and spot-clean garments, ensuring quality before pickup and guiding customers through alteration options.

The role emphasizes five-star service, problem-solving, and strong communication while maintaining store standards and contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years retail apparel experience.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm over phone, chats, and in person; solve problems and resolve conflicts.
• Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for customers; complete operational tasks.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and address concerns with leadership when needed.
• Explain alterations options and how they enhance the dress for events.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and promotional readiness for a flawless shopping experience.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments and manage scheduling.
• Press, steam, and spot-clean merchandise; inspect garments for quality before delivery.
• Build long-term relationships to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support inventory by handling special orders and pickups; ensure quality standards.
• Process transactions accurately at cash wrap; ensure every customer feels celebrated.
• Seek assistance from Alterations Manager for unresolved issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations room and perform duties as assigned.
