Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk staff, support the General Manager, and focus on front-of-house operations to ensure efficient day-to-day activities. You will multi-task in a fast-paced environment, delegate effectively, and maintain exceptional member and guest experiences.

The role requires minimum supervision, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to upholding our standards while mentoring front-end employees and managing rotating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 6 months supervisory/managerial experience in a high-volume setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk personnel and assist the General Manager.
• Focus on front-of-house operations to ensure smooth daily activity.
• Interview or assist in recruitment by handling initial phone interviews.
• Monitor inventory and review sales data with GM to drive performance.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and maintain a clean, welcoming club.
• Mentor front-end staff to support career growth and training.
• Cover shifts when needed and assist with audits and discipline when required.
