Island Pacific is hiring a Business Development Representative to own the top of the funnel and create pipeline for Retail Robot across North America and the UK. You’ll be the first dedicated BDR, working with sales leadership and focusing on outbound outreach to growth retailers (10–200 stores).

You will perform high-volume calling, multichannel sequences, and targeted research to identify buying triggers, while booking qualified meetings and contributing to the team’s OTE achievement.

Qualifications

• 12–18 months of BDR/SDR experience, ideally in B2B software.
• Retail, POS, or SaaS background a plus.
• Strong phone and writing skills, and comfortable speaking with senior executives.
• Organized, coachable, and motivated by clear targets.

Responsabilités

• Make 60+ dials a day to founders, CEOs, COOs, and operations leaders.
• Run multichannel sequences across phone, email (HubSpot), and LinkedIn.
• Research target accounts in ZoomInfo and spot buying triggers like store growth and system changes.
• Follow up every conversation with personalized email, and nurture prospects who aren’t ready yet.
• Book qualified meetings, including meetings at NRF in January.
