Job summary

Johnson Controls in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Sales Rep to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire, security, and inspections. You will build a proactive pipeline by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals while developing strong customer relationships.

The role requires 5+ years of B2B sales experience, service or technical product background, and Salesforce proficiency.

Qualifications

• Required degree or equivalent work experience with 5 years of sales experience.
• 5+ years B2B track record in sales, preferably for services or technical products.
• Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and meet quota numbers.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and Oracle systems; team player mindset.
• Salesforce proficiency; industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell service agreements for building systems (fire, sprinkler, security, etc.).
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and schedule calls.
• Develop ongoing customer relationships and identify needs.
• Close sales to meet plan objectives and maintain backlog.
• Prepare estimates from building surveys and maintain records.
• Submit reports and monitor competitive activity; support service leads.
