Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a motivated Fire Systems Sales Rep to grow service agreement sales for commercial building systems. Build a strong pipeline by qualifying prospects, developing proposals, and closing opportunities with cross‑functional support from operations and service teams.

You will use Salesforce to manage activity, forecast, and maintain strong customer relationships while targeting growth in a competitive market across a national footprint.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B sales or service agreement sales in a commercial setting.
• Experience building a sales pipeline and qualifying opportunities.
• Ability to develop proposals, pricing, and business justifications.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell planned service agreements for building systems (fire, sprinkler, security).
• Qualify prospects and nurture opportunities to build a healthy pipeline.
• Maintain relationships through follow-up, clear communication, and account management.
• Develop sales strategy aligned with accounts and service opportunities.
• Conduct building surveys to support estimates and pricing proposals.
• Prepare proposals and presentations to support closing opportunities.
• Track activity, expenses, forecasting, and pipeline in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with operations and service teams to meet customer needs.
