Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Sales Representative to promote and sell planned service agreements for commercial building systems. You will help protect and maintain critical systems while building long-term relationships and contributing to service growth across fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, and inspection solutions.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years in B2B sales, experience selling services/technical products, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience (5 years) required.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling a service, intangible, or technical product.
• Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, and closing deals.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and meet quotas.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with PCs including Windows and Oracle systems.
• Team player with collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems.
• Qualify prospects and develop sales opportunities.
• Develop estimates and proposals based on site surveys.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and reports.
• Close sales to meet plan objectives.
• Collaborate with service teams to identify upgrade opportunities.
