Job summary

S.A. Comunale in the fire protection industry seeks a sales professional to promote and quote fire sprinkler systems to general contractors and end users within an assigned territory.

You will build relationships, respond to inquiries, and help grow the sprinkler service business across commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. This role requires travel to client sites, strong knowledge of NFPA standards, reading blueprints, and a proven ability to meet sales targets while delivering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in a technical or business discipline is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience selling service contracts in the Fire Protection industry is required.
• Previous sprinkler design experience including estimating and hydraulic calculations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, and 20 is required.
• Knowledge of industry standard practices for service and inspection is required.
• Ability to multi-task to the extreme is required.
• Valid driver's license and excellent driving record is required.
• Ability to achieve sales quota and exceed goals is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and develop new and existing service accounts.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and resolve problems quickly.
• Quote service work and follow up on impairments.
• Schedule calls and build relationships to grow sprinkler service business.
• Read blueprints and understand NFPA standards for project planning.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Work with branch personnel to ensure excellent customer service.
